How to Prepare Your Home “For Sale” (Part 1)

1. Have great curb appeal, make it welcoming.
2. Brighten up the entry way into your home
3. Entry should be clean and spotless, repaint or update as necessary
4. Clean all the carpets, woodwork, flooring and windows
5. Eliminate cooking, smoking, pet odors.
6. Consider having the drapes, furniture and carpets cleaned
7. Replace any worn or stained  rugs or carpeting,
8. Use Neutral colors if painting or replacing flooring
9. Remove unneeded furniture from rooms to increase the visual space.
10. Clean out closet especially of out of season items and add extra hangers
11. Increase bulb wattage to maximum allowed by the light fixture and replace all burnt out bulbs
